I can relate to Billy so much. That's why I always loved his lyrics. They have always provided a sense of comfort for me. Smashing Pumpkins have helped me survive depression. Depression has been one of the biggest trials in my life, but it has taught me so much. I really think that you have to travel through the pits of Hell and back to truly see and appreciate the true beauty of life. I actually became teary eyed the first time I watched it. I totally understand him. I am in a similar position now, of being alone and isolated. Its really not easy. Although sometimes you want to reach out, but the fear of rejection drags you back into your isolation. Its really self-defeating.

depression is a mind trap
its horrible as fuuuuuuuck
but when you get through it, you are better at life, in my opinion
