@catman844 "(I) would die for you". Shine（しね）is a conjugation of 死ぬ. youlunico2 was close. Literally 'would die for you' implies the subject.

okay, here is the more detailed explaination.
Full title of this NDS game = Kimi no tame nara shineru = I would die for you
Japanese ppl like to shorten name (just like us!) so it got shorten to "KIMI" no tame nara "SHINE"ru = kimishine
