@shadiest213 Maybe not "overrated", but I'd say that Hood lived on old merits and its former past as being the symbol of the British rule over the sea, the symbol of their naval power.
Hood were way past her days of glory, Bismarck just had the lucky honor of ending her career

The Hood was over rated. Didn't even score a hit on Prinz Eugene. Atleast POW got a few shots in before getting molested by Bismark and retreating
