"Okay, Stella, I need you to write all of this down. I need two shots from Teen Vogue, one from Elle, three from CoverGirl, and two from CosmoGirl. I also need the Calvin Klein shot, and two of the Angel ones. Agenda, Marie Claire, Glamour, and...I guess write down Seventeen."
"But...I thought you didn't do that one," she said.
"Next Tuesday. Speaking of which, I need you to make sure that they send me ALL of the outtakes this time?"
She nodded and scribbled something down on her pad. "Anything else?"
"Um...coffee would be great. And how is the QuickLook going?"
She nodded. "It's going fine. How many pieces do you want in there?"
"Eh, ten. And Stella?"
She turned around? "Yes?"
"Tomorrow I need you to open another bank account for the designer. We are starting a men's line soon. I don't want it activated yet, but I do want a bank card for it within two weeks, if at all possible. And, make sure you input Mr. Jonas' information in the database, please?"
She turned to leave and I called her again.
"Oh! And Stella, one more thing. I need the tour dates for the Jonas Brothers World Tour, including international. Also, try to find some time to get me a membership with their official fan club. And...don't plan anything major for this summer. I have an idea."
She gave me a confused look. "Um...okay. Sure."
I gave her one last smile and sat back down at my desk. I realized one thing about this agency I was with now: I had no freedom at all. Everything was planned for me. Not this time. I wrote back telling them that I would be honored to be a part of their agency if I could work on my own schedule. If I couldnt do that, then my plan was NOT going to work. Stella came back with two binders and a bunch of folders.
"Okay, these are all the outtakes from all of the shoots you told me to get. You can pick which ones you want and I'll get them printed and in a portfolio in a snap. I also have a binder with all activities from our accounts, and I was wondering if Mr. Jonas would be a joint owner."
I shook my head. "No. Not yet. Once we start the line, we'll do that. I just want an account for right now."
She nodded and picked up the binder. "Okay, and also...I have an updated directory with Mr. Jonas' contact info and...your printed order form for a premium membership with Team Jonas. That's...the official Jonas Fan Club. May I...ask why you are buying a membership?"
I turned to her. "Okay, sit."
She sat across from me and waited.
"So...I just got an offer from IGM Models."
Her eyes widened. "Shut. Up."
"Yes, thus the portfolio. Now, I'm only switching if I can get a certain amount of money out of it and...I can work on my own schedule." She nodded and I continued. "So, if this falls through the way I hope it does, we, as in you and I, will be practically following the Jonas Brothers on their World Tour this summer. Do you have the dates?"
She nodded and handed them to me.
"I thought so. Ironically enough, their dates kinda synchronizes with some fashion shows and things like that. I think this will work."
I looked up at her. She was pretty shocked.
"Wow...Asia....thats insane."
"I know," I said, opening the folder with the first bunch of outtakes. "But hey...let's have a little fun while we're working, huh?"
She nodded and stood up. "Well, that is an amazing idea."
