Speaking as an LDS man who is the non-hetero in my marriage, feelings of ssa will never diminish. I am nearly 35 and have been married since 2000, and my wife has really grown to accept me as I am. I, like Preston feel blessed to have my wife in my life, but I do hope for companionship with a man eventually. I have 2 children aged 7 & 9 who I love dearly. This I must say: Don't continue fighting a losing battle, the results will not be pretty!!

I attended the Journey into Manhood weekend and it was the most helpful thing I've done on my journey. They never claim to cure homosexuality over night, or on the weekend retreat. I never wanted to be gay and knew I wasn’t born gay, but didn't know how to change. They gave me the tools to begin my journey. I am now happier, content, and more at peace with myself. I learned to be more authentic, and gain greater insight about myself and others.
