The first song was composed by Eric Persing !! and maybe the 7th !!!
Persing is the founder of Spectrasonics, a company specializing in developing World Class software 'virtual instruments' since 1994.
In addition to being the Creative Director of Spectrasonics, Eric was a longtime consultant and the Chief Sound Designer for Roland Corporation Japan from 1984-2005, creating the key sounds for many popular Roland synthesizers, samplers, CD-ROMs, expansion boards, processors and groove devices
OMG. I haven't heard this demo in years. I traded my D-10 for a Roland alpha juno 1. At the time, I already had Korg O1/Wfd, MIRex, Poly-800 & a Roland W-30. I wanted another "synth" as opposed to a sampled keyboard. I thought it was a good trade. I was happy with it.
@mrrusty1965 I don't quite understand your question. I want to get rid of it because I don't need it anymore and it's not really a worthy peace. I'd sell it for 100 USD. It weighs about 18 pounds or so...But you know I'm from Swizterland and as a US citican you would have to pay shipping costs and of course it runs on 220 Volts. So you would need an adapter...
@rinarinarina70 Why do you want to get rid of it? I have a seller in NYC getting rid of his for $200 along with gig bag and stand. It sounds decent for a portable gigging keyboard. How much does it weigh?
I'd like to find one of these units as I just got my hands on a huge roland sound library disc set that lists the s9, s10 and 015 being compatible with the format...maybe someone knows other roland models these might work on?
@OpusMagister Have to agree warm pad fades is by far the best preset sound on this synth. Worth keeping for this alone. Also liked some of the woodwind sounds.
