I could understand from the vegetarians and animals rights POV. I would feel much better about eating meat knowing that it didnt came from a cow, pig, lamb, or chicken that didnt suffered its entire life in a factory farm, and I rather have them graze the fields and live a happy and natural life and then when ultimately dispatched, be it humane and as quick and painless as possible. We have to be smart and environmentally conscious about how we handle ours food that plain and simple.
well unfortunately this is reality. we cant just tell the world that we must stop eating meat and be vegetarians and not expect more than half of the world's population end up starving to death as most poor people in poor countries right now are already starving to death. Not only that but it will extremely upset the balance of the food chain what will there be to eat for the animals if we all became vegetarians. I feel for the animals too but we have to survive too don't we? its called survival
I'll have respect for vegetarians when the 'tofu burger" and it's related abominations are a evil thought of the past. You want to forsake having meat in your diet which your body is designed to use (just check out those front teeth) fine, but don't expect anyone to take you seriously when you create something thats designed to mimic what you decided to cut out of your diet. Oh and drop pam anderson/peta from your spokesman list, the BS is getting a bit thick coming from them.
You have to kill it before you grill it...I'd rather have a whole bunch of steaks than have a full plate of soybeans or tofu. Long live beef, chicken, turkey and fish
For someone to 'hate' another person for their personal opinions and beliefs instead of respecting their views is exactly what's wrong with this world. I accept and respect his views although i personally may not agree with them.
The only reason you guys are eating vegetarian is because you have an enormous variety of protein sources to choose from. After the zombie apocalypse, you'll be eating meat with the rest of us.
anthony bourdain is a great chef and food traveller... im a big fan of no reservations, its exciting, but im a vegetarian and its soo disapointing to learn your views on vegetarians...
