@allenk727 Oh, don't get me wrong. I don't for a second believe that the Earth is less than (at least) a few billion years old. I'm just saying that no evolutionary biologist of whom I am aware makes the claim that humans evolved from monkeys. The evidence shows that humans and monkeys evolved from a common ancestor. The second chart here explains it pretty well:

@davemuscato We did evolve from monkeys BUT not the same as the monkeys today we evolved from a different branch of monkeys. same family different branch. Anyway it is more believable than the world being 5 thousand years old and that we lived among dinosaurs and the entire planet was created in 6 days.If you chose to believe in that, that's fine with me i honestly dont care.

@heyJBAY Re: evolution. New species evolve constantly. Try Googling "observed instances of speciation" for a list. There are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of examples of observed instances of new species evolving. Instead of trusting some random article on the internet - since we all know everything is always right on the internet, right? - why don't you go down to your local university, find a real evolutionary biologist, and ask him/her to explain why evolution is true?

@allenk727 We didn't evolve from monkeys. Monkeys and humans both evolved from a common ancestor. Monkeys and humans are cousins.

@heyJBAY Actually, Josephus' "evidence" for Jesus is widely regarded to be, at best, only partially authentic, and at worst, an interpolation (outright forgery inserted into the text by later scribes while making copies):

Catholicism started with a foundation of exploitation. Its the largest buisness in the world.
They do lots of good things for the world but thats exactly what the do... good things for the world. We as christians need to do Amazing things for God. and Be used by Him.
Let Jesus be the center Not some saint,or ever Mary for that matter.

@heyJBAY Christianity worships Jesus in catholicism we worship saints like saint Paul, Bridget, Colmkill and god and Jesus etc there are hundreds and we worship Mary Christians dont yous worship Jesus and god. science is constantly advancing religion isn't we are going into the future people who are religious are living in the past and it IS slowing the progression of the human race.so............ Catholicism IS NOT Christianity.
