I honestly don't get what your problem is. Rescue me is one of the best shows out there and Denis Leary definitely acts good in it. Intense and still loving. You should wash your eyes if you think otherwise.

I like Denis Leary. I Don't care if he ripped off Bill hicks fifteen years ago, since Hicks died '94 and I find Leary still funny. Unless someone can prove Leary somehow reanimated Hicks' body and stole jokes (again?) I'll still enjoy this Irish-American ranting lunatic's complaints on this world 'til the day I die.

What disturbs me is that people still care that Denis Leary ripped off Bill Hicks. Really? How do you know that the material wasn't sold to Hicks and Leary from the same guy. No comedian will admit to buying jokes (except Bill's stand-up special, "Sane Man." Bill admits to "buying that segue"). Let me put an end to this bickering with facts:

Hicks is #4.
Leary is not on the list.

Bill Hicks was so right about the good guys dying the the bad guys surviving.
This guy is awful. I watched him before I knew about the dispute that he and Hicks had, and I already detested him.

@uk6strings Denis Leary is inarguably worthless. His "acting" career is garbage, in my opinion, and the only reason he was ever on anybody's radar to begin with is that he shamelessly ripped-off a better stand-up.
Obviously, I don't think "Rescue Me" was plagiarized. I just think it's crap and couldn't care less about it.
I don't know why I watched this video, it's not like I give a damn what Leary is up to.
I just want people to listen to Hicks.
