tell the copilot thanks for not *smashing* the gear handle up. it annoys me when I see people doing that!

A friend of mine just put a picture up on facebook of him flying a jet. It was a smaller one, but still a jet. He has a pilit's license, but works with me, so I know he's not employed by any company. I will also check with him to see how he did it. I would really love to fly a jet someday.

@Talent2008 If your parents are your company, and they have lots of money, then yes.

Canadair/Bombardier definitely some of my favorite aircraft. I remember when the first Challenger - marketed as a widebody business jet - was shown as a sketch in Flying magazine back in... probably the early 70s. I would have to look it up to know for sure.

some more videos of this flight would be awesome
I want to obtain a commercial pilots license, just as a hobby. Is that possible, or do I HAVE to be employed by a company?

@Talent2008 First step is to get your private pilots license. To fly the commercial airlines or private jets it takes quite a long time to accumulate the necessary flying time required....but it can be done. I know someone who started flying later in life and is now flying jets. "all things are possible to him who believes"
