Talking Cat & Seasick Steve "Oh Long Johnson"

A few months ago I found on YouTube the most AMAZING clip of the now World-Famous 'TALKING CAT' (I think it's from an episode of 'Pets Do The Funniest Things' or something like that). I was so taken with this unreal animal... There he was, large as life, grumpy and surly, sounding like some hobo, complaining about what sounded like his 'Long Johnson'...

I downloaded the clip and sampled it, making it into a Blues Song with the help of a member of my band, some instruments, and a sleazy-cool riff courtesy of Lo-Fi Blues musician SEASICK STEVE.

The mash-up features the riff from his song 'CUT MY WINGS' from the 2006 album 'DOG HOUSE MUSIC' and it seemed to fit so well with that cantakerous moody cat it barely needed changing...

Did my best to edit out the audience canned laughter. Hope you love it as much as we do at my house - I even got is as my ringtone now. I wish that was my cat - what a star!

We piss ourselves laughing everytime we hear 'Oh Long Johnson'. Screw the Crazy Frog - Long live the Talkin' Cat Blues! Wish we could find out his name to give him royaltees LoL!
