@boywhoy88 You say you know god is just and holy. That's no proof. Some crazies say they know Obama is a lizard looking to end the world by taking control of the US. Doesn't give any sort of truth value to the belief to say you KNOW it.

Then you are aware according to your own religion god is the one who gave us the original mind. Why couldn't he give us a good one to begin with instead of screwing around ?

Finally, that last statement is the purest appeal to guilt I've ever seen. In short : BS.

the reason that religious people just blindly qoute text from their silly books is because their minds were shut off from any reasoning when they were indoctrinated. As soon as you present them with an intelligent question or evidence contrary to their belief system, they just shut down and cant compute. In the very backs of their minds there is a niggling that they have been conned, but pride and fear overrides this so they carry on blinkeredly.

Foolish scoffing disguised as "comedy" is not funny, as it's still foolish scoffing, using the masquerade of "comedy" to attempt (badly) to "convince" people believers in God are foolish.

Religion cracks, and crumbles slowly with each advance in science; and each new user to the internet. An infinite amount of information exists at our fingertips now; ignorance is no longer an excuse (now it's apathy/hopelessness) Most of us are aware that a bright future is easily possible but are afraid to change. Look at our education system, prime example of fear of change. Throwing money fixes nothing, it needs to be modernized; like our cars, power source, government. We need real change.

@blva888 You are half correct. But Hitler was a christian, with strong Catholic leanings ... but a christian who followed the religious texts. However, the part you are correct about ... proves absolutely nothing, considering the most violent and bloody wars that were not considered wars (because the other side was defenseless) were in the name of organized religion.
