Yet another drive in theater as documented on my Public Access series OUTDOOR MOOVIES. This clip is unique in that we not only chat with the new owners, but also the former owners.It's a great story, told by those who made it happen, of a beautiful drive in theater being rescued not once but twice. yes this theater is still running. sadly the screen got damaged recently and although its covered by insurance it still saddens me to see it like this

@GeneralLeeStudios Thank you for the comment. It reminded me of the Lansing Drive In. Strong winds blew down one of the wide-screen extentions, and, for the final screenings, the left side of the image was missing, exposing the K Mart sign from across the street.

@driveinights I believe it is. If anyone from the area knows, pass the word, eh? This was a very cool place, as you can tell. I suspect that it once had a different marque. Being able to get an audio interview with both the owners AND the previous owners was a hoot. Wish I'd gotten videos of them, often, people shy away from that and I can understand why. One gentleman that we taped at the MAGIC CITY Drive In chose to complain about his appearence here, which is OK. I simply took it off.
