But what's the BIGGER PICTURE here apart from learning? You see, learning is a feature. Confidence is the ultimate outcome!

And what better from the man who I called the Godfather Of Dental Coaching to talk about confidence. He started off his presentation at the recent Treasure Map Experience infront of over 100 of Tony's Members talking about Gloom A Geddon and the manifestation of recession.

And not to be drawn into it but to look where money is flowing. For example in a country with similar population to the UK, Germany fitted 500,000 dental implants last year. Compared to only 35,000 here.

Does this give you confidence? Of course it does. The implant market is emerging and untapped. We have a highly successful Dental Implant System thats still a works in progress with Jon Swarbrigg. And soon to be featured in a two part article in Private Dentistry.

Barrow pointed out the over fifties as one of the four great markets to be in over the next ten years. And this is the market that NEEDS implants but hasnt been persuaded yet to buy at the same rate as Germany.

PLUS one of the other markets he mentioned was Ortho. Is it the fact that some Orthos understand that people dont have time to wait for straight teeth?

Or is it that big companies have the marketing power to push Invisilign or the Inman Aligner that the public cant properly pronounce?

Probably a mixture of both. But let me give you two more blasts of confidence for where the money is flowing into the New & Improved Economy of 2009/2010.

1) By 2010 there will be an odyssey of 50% divorce rate in the over 50s. This means half of your biggest market have new needs and wants.

2) Would straight teeth in 6 months or a NEW revolutionary method to help you eat steak do the trick? Oh yes! They would flock to your monthly singles club for over 50s in their droves all stinking of Dove Soap.

So where will your confidence take you over the next five years? Will it be to where the money is flowing? Or where the plain vanilla dentist is staying?

It's not often I go red in the face. But Barrow did just that. In his testimony to me he stated three factors that make me individual and anyone for that matter;

1) Confident,
2) Authentic,
3)Original.

And hes the only business coach I know who can't spell. Said Barrow.

One Member Ed Williams who thoroughly enjoyed himself at the Treasure Map Experience said this about confidence and owning his own space, I am still feeling the magic down in chilly South Wales and will be spending this weekend evenings working on the white spaces in our copy.

This week I have taken Chris B's words to heart and have oozed "CONFIDENCE" at every opportunity.

I was amazed at how many people ask how's business and my reply has been "Great but there is always room for more." People are looking for that confidence and we need to lead the way as Chris showed us.
