This song began as a beautiful poem written by Tina Mae Renee Guttery, whose work was introduced to me by her sister, Barbara Mullikin who is also a collaborator on this project. I asked Tina to do a slight lyrical rewrite and with a bit of coaching she did an amazing job. I am convinced the hand of the holy spirit was helping her along the way..It is one of my all time favourite songs.. Ministers to me everytime I hear it and everytime I sing it! The lyric for almost all of the song is a person's testimony-who expresses what he knows in his heart and what he knows in his heart is what Jesus put there. The persona is so aware of his continuous connection with Jesus that he even states "you're in my every thought telling me all i ever wanted..and then he goes on to state how quickly Jesus intervenes and provides the answer...before I ask you start to answer...and then Jesus replies with..you are the one I hold so dear..in my heart..and then the persona replies with exactly the same words that Jesus says...Jesus loves the regenerated soul and this soul loves his relationship with Jesus..he is totally at peace with Jesus...In faith he finds everything he could ever need to find...and he is so convinced that every fiber of his heart; which is a tender heart; like that of a woman, she knows that Jesus loved him from..the very first day...What can I say more about it...That is what I understand; what the holy spirit has made me understand about the words of this song...I hope that the holy spirit liberates you as it does me..Amen.
