  • @strata1972 What part of Texas are you in? I'm in San Antonio. Realtors are trying to put a good spin on the housing market, but most of the sales are REO's.

  • Thanx for spending your time and money making these videos!!

This type overbuilding has been going on in Texas since I first came here in 1980.

I've seen places empty for over 20 years. If I was the mayor of some of these cities I would push to have this crap tore down and return the land to its natural place

  • Love those Waffle House Waffles.

  • That bank would make a nice Starbucks drive thru, lol. I would like to know what to open in that empty retail space, if I did, I would open that store myself. The public servants have made us all slaves to there fabulous pensions and benefits. In my prosperous neighborhood, there still building retail space, I hope they aren't overbuilding. The circuit city in my area is still empty too, just like yours. Nice vid as usual, nice commentary too.

  • Exactly....the public sector workers and their pensions are just too expensive, and with half of these establishments not paying property taxes, how can they operate?

    They can't.
