@strata1972 What part of Texas are you in? I'm in San Antonio. Realtors are trying to put a good spin on the housing market, but most of the sales are REO's.

This type overbuilding has been going on in Texas since I first came here in 1980.
I've seen places empty for over 20 years. If I was the mayor of some of these cities I would push to have this crap tore down and return the land to its natural place
That bank would make a nice Starbucks drive thru, lol. I would like to know what to open in that empty retail space, if I did, I would open that store myself. The public servants have made us all slaves to there fabulous pensions and benefits. In my prosperous neighborhood, there still building retail space, I hope they aren't overbuilding. The circuit city in my area is still empty too, just like yours. Nice vid as usual, nice commentary too.
Exactly....the public sector workers and their pensions are just too expensive, and with half of these establishments not paying property taxes, how can they operate?
