Sugarhill Gang's Rapper's Delight is considered by many as the first rap ever recorded, others say it was King Tim III by The Fatback Band, well in this song from 1969 Sonia Santos raps over a heavy samba/bossa-nova beat, I know its got nothing to do with hip hop but still worth a listen, btw this is an extended remix version to the original song

  • @ferchoandres yes, just another proof that, rappers delight might have been officially the first, but for sure they got the inspiration from something else that came out before it
