Are those Axis pedals?

@15thDrummer Get a metronome. Keep a basic 4/4 beat and play 16th notes on bass at the fastest tempo you can. If you're not that good, you'll only be able to play 16th notes on the bass drum in the low 100 BPM mark. Work that until it's comfortable. Should take three or four minutes. Each day, increase the tempo by 2 BPM, and do the same thing. Don't look at short time frames, this is a gradual thing. But with this you can quite literally achieve any speed.

If you just follow all of Dave's double bass lessons building up speed as you go (this will take time) you can do many different D.B. beats, grooves, and fills' he has helped me tremendously..Thanks Ax !

God i'd love to have the skill to casually jam these 32nd note fills, or even a casual 16th note roll :(

The Beginner ones were harder xD

I thought i was intermediate level till i watch this...

@15thDrummer If you want to make your left foot stronger when playing double bass either switch your drum set to be left handed or keep your double pedel on your right handed set up and play on the left pedel when you play songs. It always helped me.

lucky for me the longest amount of notes i can play quickly with my feet is 4 :D

@KFCrenegade A good pedal is always helpful but once you build the dexterity of your feet you can play well on any pedal no matter the brand or even the spring tension.

@trizzle2013 You should see the complexity of the beginner double bass fill video. What beginner is going to be able to play sixteenth note triplets mixed with sixteenth notes?
if this is Intermediate level drumming then I guess I'm not intermediate lol
