I owned and drove 3 Espaces between 1991 and 1998 - one Mark 1 and two Mark 2's. Great for driving, magnificent design and very versatile indeed. Fibreglass bodywork meant no rust, and a very safe low centre of gravity that made it exceptionally stable, even in high winds. If I needed a big car now, I'd definitely look for a Mk1 or Mk2 Espace. This new one? Meh.

yep we got the mk3 but ours is a 2001 model and there is more space especially leg room..we get a push chair behind the very last seats ok..

i have the 97 model i think its a mk 3, which dosent have as much tech as that one but i think the older ones have more space as i was parked up beside a new one one day and mines looked much larger,

anyways there top cars to own, a bit expensive for parts etc but very comfy cars to drive, i have a 2.2 turbo diesel and its very powerful for the size of the car,

i love the espace i have but hope to get a new one like this one this year :)
