@mikethemanism you just gotta find the fish, if you have a vexilar or a hummingbird like they do, you can look in your hole before your fishing, to tell you if there is anyfish. so you can move to find the fish.

hi nice fish 5/5! my dad and i ice fish all the time in the winter.. I am younger and i sometimes go out by myself. but anyways the lake i fish seems to never produce big gills in the winter got any tips?

Tigereticxxx is right. Move and move and move again until you find where the fish like to hang in the winter. And it changes from early to mid to late ice. Also ask at the local bait shops and don't be afraid to approach other guys on the ice and have a visit with them.
