@verum1980 You can't control peoples views and opinions.Even Holy father has his own opinion. When it comes to doctrine, this is a totally different matter that the Church has always been consistent with. The point of apologetics is not to explain away, but find an understanding. Vatican II Clarified where the church made her position, until that time, the Church never had an official position. I really appreciate you commenting and replying and taking the time out of your day. God Bless Friend

@CatholicApologia I know that the Church does not hold all Jews responsible now.My point is that we did not always hold this view. The notion of collective Jewish guilt, which bedeviled relations between the two faiths, was disowned by the Roman Catholic church only at the second Vatican council in 1965.I'm ok with this, we were humble enough to concede. This is a historical face. Like all things that are apparently true - they can be explained away. This should not be the function of apologetics

@verum1980 Simple, because hold the Jews accountable is not Catholic Doctrine. CCC 597 states :
"The historical complexity of Jesus' trial is apparent in the Gospel accounts. The personal sin of the participants (Judas, the Sanhedrin, Pilate) is known to God alone. Hence we cannot lay responsibility for the trial on the Jews in Jerusalem as a whole, despite the outcry of a manipulated crowd and the global reproaches contained in the apostles' calls to conversion after Pentecost. Cont...

@CatholicApologia Understandably, I can't remember the exact page of the paraphrase - I quoted it because I remembered it.
If the Church does not error in matters of doctrine how come we apparently did error? We formally held the Jews responsible for the death of Jesus Christ. In Vatican2, under Pope Benedict XVI, this charge was removed.

@verum1980 I have also read Weigals book, and I do not recall this, please be more specific. Is the Catholic Church perfect? Absolutely not, nor does it claim to be. As the Church is Holy, not every member is (John 6:70). The magisterium, guided and protected from error by the Holy Spirit, gives us certainty in matters of doctrine. This is what separates the Church from the rest, not to mention est by Jesus Christ. The Church proclaims the full gospel, Incomplete Christianity Is Not Enough .

@Gemeni3insane Yes, There are many interesting facts that point to Rutherford being a free mason.

@Neverever325 I think you have made your own misunderstanding if you believe that I have come here with an agenda of my own, even for its own gain. The only Agenda about this video is showing the false teaching of the JW Sect, and providing those facts. If the video has errors, I would be happy to hear and apply those to future videos about the JW Organization. To say that no organization has an accurate reflection on what Jesus taught would be highly inaccurate also.

Your video has errors and misunderstandings. This is what happens when a person of one religion tries to be objective and tries to explain another religion. It's a good effort but not without an agenda of its own. I would argue that there is no religion on earth today that accurately reflects what Jesus was about or actually taught. All religions have histories with things that they'd like to sweep under the rug or deemphasize.
"To say that no organization has an accurate reflection on what Jesus taught would be highly inaccurate also."
The Catholic Church itself concedes that its reflection of God is not perfect (See: George Weigal - Witness to Hope, authorized biography of Pope JP2) but holds that it is correct in the important issues. Catholicism would describe my interpretation of salvation history. I also acknowledge it's not empirical. It is faith in informed tradition.

@verum1980 As the Church declared at the Second Vatican Council:
[N]either all Jews indiscriminately at that time, nor Jews today, can be charged with the crimes committed during his Passion. The Jews should not be spoken as rejected or accursed as if this followed from holy Scripture
The Pope's book, he said, not only confirms church teaching refuting the decide charge "but seals it for a new generation of Catholics".
The death and resurrection was all part of God's plan. Salvation for us.
