i've loved XTC since 1979 but i've never heard of the gilmore girls - i feel like the odd one out after reading all the comments.
at least the younger generation are being exposed to the genius that is andy partridge. you all really need to check out fuzzy warbles.

Proof once again that the writers of Gilmore Girls were enthusiasts of great music. The fact that they used this song and "Thirteen" by Big Star kinda blew my mind.
This is a masterpiece of a song. XTC = the modern Beatles. Genius stuff.

OK, let's cut out all the Gilmore Girls BS for a minute and talk about the actual f'n song. This is one of my favorite XTC tunes, and just another example of how consistently awesome these guys were throughout their entire existence.
