Steve Tromans "Directions in Music" (0h 59m 37s to 1h 5m 58s)

A very small part of Tromans' 10.5-hour performance, "Directions in Music", at the 2011 Harmonic Festival at the Midlands' Art Centre, Edgbaston, Birmingham (UK), on 1 October 2011.

Since the audio of the music-making could only be accessed via wireless headphones, the audience was able to intermingle and wander around the building and grounds of the park. The photographs evoke a 'sense' of the active role played by various listeners/spectators in constructing their own performance experience from the event.
