  • is the aluminum sturdy enough to atcually hold without denting or bending during filming?

  • @Outlaw1872 Actually Alluminum is one of the softer metals, so it dents easily. I'd reccomend being as gentle as possible if you're actually clashing something like this against other stuff.

  • lets point out that you know how to work aluminum, polishing and cutting, but you don't know how to make a sword.

  • @Rulox999 It's only a prop, not meant to be a real sword.

  • @LewisBelgum wasn't the chainmail WETA used in LOTR made of some kind of pvc?

  • @kg6lcr depends who does it, weta for example, such as in lotr designs and builds functioning and balanced weapons the correct way, forging. as well as some of their armour.

  • BUILD YOURSELF A WORKBENCH!!! I admire you just for the fact that you will still make swords even on the floor, but damn thats gotta be uncomfortable as hell and kinda dangerous with power tools. So please make some kind of bench to work off of.

  • That is how the Hollywood make their swords max production for the actors. These are cheap and relatively easy to make and from a distance, they look real.

  • @Luka1180 Oh, no, it cost somewhere close to $30, that's as far as i can remember.

  • @RyuBlue I think it would be around 1000 bucks right? Or 500?
