Pride and Joy - My solo with the Don Felder Band

I had the pleasure last year of 'meeting' ex-Eagle Don Felder online. He was kind (and brave) enough to invite me to get up with his band at his Calgary concert while I was there visiting my sister this March 2009. This is my solo in SRV's 'Pride and Joy' filmed by my sister on her little camera, the only footage of the event. I'm in the white pants, Don is playing the white Strat, that's his daughter Leah beautifying the stage and his son Cory is on percussion.

I 'met' Don online after my sister, who's a radio announcer in Calgary, met him when he was promoting his book . He heard my slide playing and invited me over for his Calgary concert to hang out and get up for a tune.

GOODONYA KIRK ......!!......an ex canuk and now an Aussie ......for those who dont know him it's KIRK LORANGE who now lives in Queensland Australia and he has played on squillions of recordings in Oz and is regarded as one of the finest slide players ever , he is all over Aussie icon Richard Claptons early albums as well as his own stuff and a true gentleman as well !!...........................
