  • Although the sound quality of this old recording may be lacking, the mere fact that it still exists is a blessing for musicians, music lovers & music historians. Now... who doesn't still get that Gershwin is in the first rank of world composers, not just the most accomplished American composer yet???! Thanks for making this archive available to us YouTubers.

  • The family use to listen to his radio programme. It was only 15 minutes long. But so great because George played a lot piano, like here, in place of the orchestra. Ahh, to go back to those days one more time before I leave this world I find myself in...Good Luck to all.
