I'm not sure what he was doing in '99 though to be honest, I'm pretty sure he wasn't a rockstar though. I'm pretty sure he started off as a stand up comic.....

...Infant Sorrow is a made up band ...created for the film FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL ...but no less reflects how good RUSSELL BRANDS singing voice is and yes I know the songs are comical and tongue in cheek but never the less still well played by the musicians and I for one enjoy the album very much!!!!

This clip was not used in the film but was supposed to be the fictional band in 1999 ~ the film GET HIM TO THE GREEK is based on the premise that the greek theatre concert that Aldos Snow is supposed to be getting to, is a 10 YR ANNIVERSARY CONCERT of this one!!!
The filmmakers of get him to the greek recorded lots of "concert 1999 " footage ,shamefully hardly any was used in the final edit of the film .

@SiNNzZo3 You can't really say that they are not a real band because they have created and recorded music and to not give any band that credit despite if the idea of the band came from a movie or not is kinda insulting...
