Nice ride but needs some BF Goodrich T/A's white letter tires white wall s make it look like an OLD Man car! Mon had one when I was a kidin dark metal flake green,and I had two cougars in this body style . Great looking cars but lame HP and poor gas mileage! Mom's was a police 400 modified that one was very fast also rare I wish I still had it !

The Ford Torino Elite was built on the same platform as the Mercury Cougar.I had a 1976 Ford Torino in the same colour and Ford called it Copper Bronze.Tip,pitting on the chrome use naval jelly and elbow grease and it will come off.Use a claybar on the paint and it will bring off the blemishes.

This is a Ford Elite. The first year this model came out (1974) it was called a "Gran Torino Elite", but in 75 the Elite became a separate model line apart from the Torino/Gran Torino models.
