The Llangollen Railway.

On our way to the Welshpool and Llanfair railway, on the 9th July 2007, we made a stop at the Llangollen Railway for a quick ride.

As I'm a little busy at the moment, I haven't put any of the on train footage together, but here is some of the footage I took at both Llangollen, and Glyndyfrdwy.

The section from Glyndyfrdwy to Carrog was closed due to flood damage apparently.

Do you know why 7822 is displaying the ECS headcode in the last shot?, was the coaching stock being stabled in the sidings?

Yes, it was taking empty stock back to the sidings.

It must have been 5643 as she has been up there a lot this year, all you got to do is type her number in!

Because of the reduced working, and being a weekday, there was only one train, with 7822 on it. I did see a 56XX tucked away in the loco yard a Llangollen, but it was hard to see anythng else.

I was up there that day but i didn't know the Glyndyfrdwy-Carrog section was flooded till now
