An aerotow at FFF in Salemburg.
6 minutes to get up, 60 minutes to get down. Great flight for February in NC, but a bit cold.
Critics... I know, I should have turned right off release.

  • Hey Mr. Batterson! It's so great to stumble on your youtube channel after so many years. This looks like a blast. I love the song!

  • @OhSoFeinstein : )

  • Wow; this is amazing!!! Didn't u go hanggliding with Mr. Miller last year?

  • I did, I took him to the place where this was filmed and he took a tandem flight with an instructor(there is a video of him in my videos... this one is me).

  • do you need licenes for these? how much does hang gliders cost?

  • The cost of training to be able to fly solo is generally in the neighborhood of $1,000-$1,500, and a full setup (harness, glider, helmet, variometer, etc.) can run anywhere from $3,000 (used) to $10k+. Google USHPA for more info.

  • @jbatterson Him, if you're five feet tall and weigh 120 lbs, will lifting the hang glider be a HUGE PROBLEM for you when launching or landing? If so, can you use an aerotow instead?

  • The music is unnecessary and does not support or enhance the subject.

  • I could never do that...

  • Thanks for the kind words... happy flying!
