Never use METAL while making fireworks,notice burn marks on the wood jig.Always use wood or non static/metalic tools,NOT METAL do not drill chemicals HEAT will set them off!!!

Right evryone who views this ppllzzzzz help me i mix kno3 and powderd sugar but when it burns it gives of a liquid that then sets even commpressed it gives of no proper thrust i realy dont know what im doing wrong :(
What did you make the fins out of?

I use 3/32 inch thick sheet balsa wood from the local hobby shop

The fuse I use (green) is fairly slow - Ideally you would use that for the delay and splice it into fast fuse to ignite the core - that would give more consistant ignition.

hi there great tutorial... i have some kn03 fertilizer wich works great for smoke bombs and stuff. but i cant seem 2 make it work in rockets. does it have 2 b 99.9 % pure potassium nitrate b4 it works?
