This look by Christophe Danchaud is a deep deep smokey eye effect. With layers of brown, black, deep violet, deep black and gray gloss around they eyes, this look has a high glamor factor and is quite edgy and sexy.

This look begins from a good foundation make-up

A quick synopsis of this look - * Brows: groomed and filled * Eyes: brown black violet eyeshadows with black eyeliner * Lashes: Black Mascara * Blush: pink * Lips: knocked down

What is needed for this phase is: * clear powder (free) * eyebrow pencil (only if needed) * gray white brown black eyeshadows * black pencil * deep black eyeshadow * dark violet and gray eyeshadow * black mascara * mixed pink blushes of matt and shiny * lip consealer or foundation * gray gloss

Optional Tools: * soft round brush * eyebrow brush * flat soft brush * short hard pointed brush * short soft angled brush * blush brush

  • Great look and I like the techniques used, he makes it look effortless. The heavy eyeshadow under the eyes makes it more suitable for the fashion shows, catwalks etc as people have already commented. In my opinion not putting so much eyeshadow under the eye would make the look more wearable.
