@davies93313 From India to Nigeria, you name it, that is just there character,God will judge one day. If we are talking about the continent of Africa, where do we even begin? That''s why I emphasise on not relinquishing our power, but If we truly have independence then even in our minds, this is not to say that the decay and ill-repair they have planted is not of great consequence, But it is to say that they do not determine the future of Africa, we really need to come to that realisation
I actually agree with that point, that reformation is essential from the bottom to the top, let the real owners decide how Nigeria will best function for the advantage of every individual within the nation, I will say I think we have come too far to start breaking down tribal or racial barriers, Nigeria has the potentials and natural resources if combined with rational leadership to be a world super power,
England are renowned for they constant attempts to exercise their muscle in many countries
@nwanyidimma Yes they have long history of interethnic tensions and even wars. Presently Scotland is planning to break out of union with England. There are institutional corruptions as well. However, these are incomparable with the decay they have systematically planted and nurtured in Nigeria. England is muscling down their political collegues but cannot do it the extent it has always been done on Africa. They fight but will not allow us know but we fight to the extent they are invited.
@davies93313 Today Nigeria's formation is a product of past foreign colonial leaders, the same way UK is a product of English force and brutality, yet they manage to allow it to work, do you say we relive the past unfortunate occurrences and continue to fight amongst ourselves? These external masters only have the power we relinquish to them. All I am saying is let Nigerians should stop reliving the past on daily basis, after all it is not where you begin the race, it is where you finish.
For Nigeria to work, everything needs to be reformed from the foundation based on the free decisions of all the peoples that make up Nigeria, because every part of Nigeria as a political entity is imported including its very name. It's time the real owners decided how they want it to be.
@davies93313 What do I think? I am not saying you don't know the Western Countries, that is not the issue. Corruption is not solely on an individual level, but occurs higher up within formal institutions also. For example the United Kingdom is not one, The people of scotland, wales and republic of Ireland will tell you this, the UK is not meant for the good of the people but rather the good of the English national status, monarchy and economic system.
@nwanyidimma Therefore don't be fooled by their hypocritical patroitism. They say another thing to you and do another secretly. They don't even believe in Nigeria themselves. For them Nigeria means mere opportunism. It is only when there is no money again in Nigeria that people will reveal their true convictions. Mind you, the western countries you talk about, I also know them more than you think. There are individuals' corruptions but their countries are meant for the good of their people.
@nwanyidimma Though sound reasonable on how people should talk publicly, I reject your view of Nigeria. Nigeria's problem is of wickedness than weakness. From its foundation and structure it's meant for foreign interests. These external masters have always had their secret hands active in whatever happens in Nigeria and have always seen to it that their faithful servants are always in charge. These clicks of stooges and accomplices do it through ethnocentric politics and religious hypocrisy .
@davies93313 , It takes one person who is destined to make change, to effect a nation. E.g. Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela among-st many others, The truth is power breeds greed, corruption, and contempt, and this is true of all nations. Don't be fooled, just because we don't hear about it, even USA and The United Kingdom have hidden tales that if we knew, we would be shocked to hear. Nigeria is not an exception, Natural we will get frustrated, but that doesn't mean we give up, does it?
