  • wow thank you for doing something like this!!! I see a lot of people doing this on there own. And I saw a kit out there but you loose the power steering. Did you guys think of a sleeper look where you could keep your stock hood?

  • @scottday8

    Thanks Scott.

Yes we have a very short adapter under way that will accept a webber carb and axial supercharger, clearance is tight at the back thou and may oly fit limited models.

  • So what was your estimated total HP? I'm trying to find out as much information as possible about that intake and how the application and testing has been going, but I'm coming up extremely short.

  • @bthieson

On this run the car made 189 HP at the flywheel, but it had old fuel, standard distributor curv and a borrowed carby.

Since then we have been developing production parts for the kit and have fitted a set of extractors with larger primary pipes, the dissy has been locked and it will get fresh fuel before running up again. This engine was a standard rebuild and the blower was not part of the original plan so we will not be leaning on it too much, will keep it under 10 psi.

  • Wow thats nice!! More video please?? Thanks for posting this!

  • @YOUDONTNOME001

    Thanks for that .

Will post up more vids as soon as we finish playing around with exhaust, carb and ign.

Hopefully in the next few days.

  • hey there!!!! its been forever..... I haven't had time to keep up on your quest. but Im looking forward to seeing the finished product. ;) so what all can this be put into and what are all the mods? I have a single 225 in my duster.... do you think this well give it some perk!

  • VERY impressive TQ numbers! Continue to show the world what Chrysler performance engineering is all about. IIRC, the same engineers that worked on the Slant Six, were responsible for a little ol' project known as... the Hemi. Not sure if it was the "early" or "late" block / head configuration..but it doesn't surprise me either way! BTW, have you run into any difficulty with the coating stripping off of the rotors because of this being a carbed "draw-thru" configuration? Thanks for posting.

  • haha, good christ, the brackets required to manage that.every slant should be blessed with a 6-71

  • scott

do you know if it will work on a plymouth duster?
