In Dispi Denez Prigent, the singer/songwriter expresses his very pessimistic point of view on the Breton language. He describes the despair of those who dream of a return to harmony between generations linked by the Breton language and culture.
A verse already used in E trouz ar gêr sums up his way of life:
"n'eus ket un deiz na ganfen ket"
(there is not a single day during which I would not sing).
"Les Bretons ont chanté leur vie ŕ pleine gorge ou ŕ voix de complainte, pour exalter la joie ou endormir la peine. Ils s'accompagnaient de chansons du berceau ŕ la tombe et toutes les circonstances étaient bonnes pour improviser un véritable journal en couplets"
