Jen- Alright *pulls away from the hug but still holds on to nick as she looks him in the eyes* Where are we going?
Nick- Thats a surprise baby. *opens his car door for her* get in.
Jen- *gets in and wonders if this was just another trick. Starts to get second thoughts. People cant change so quickly. Can they?*
Nick- *hops in beside her and starts to drive. He looks over at her-so vulnerable and delicate, and starts to sweat as he becomes more nervous thinking about asking her to be his girlfriend* Are you ok?
Jen- Now I am. *looks over at him and smiles slightly. Gosh hes so handsome, and he has a softer more gentle look on his face*
Nick- *arrives at the pier and takes out another blindfold and puts it on Jen* Sorry if this brings up memories.
Jen- *gets a little antsy wondering where they are and if this is good or bad* Its fine I guess just take me there
Nick- *leads her up the pier to a little blanket he had layed out at the end with some food, candles and flowers* Wait right there. *lights the candles because it is just starting to get dark. Then walks back to Jen, removes the blindfold and hands her a red rose*
Jen- *speechless* wowwowww. Nick..you didntyou didnt have to do this.
Nick- *smiles sweetly* You like it?
Jen- I LOVE it! *hugs Nick then pulls him in closer and kisses him for a while*
Nick- *kisses back and feels really happy. A different kind of happy than he has felt with a girl before. Thinks, wow she actually initiated that kiss. She might agree to be my girlfriend after all!* Lets sit down and eat something.
Jen- Ok! *sits down and starts to eat. She cant help but keep glancing at Nick throughout the meal. A few times they made eye contact and then bashfully looked back down again. This was a weird feeling. It was like they had just met and fallen for each other at first sight. However, she could still not forget the past they shared. She was so confused. How could a guy that would go as far as to rape her, be sitting with her now seeming like the sweetest guy on earth. Something HAD to be up*
Nick- *stands up after they are finished and takes Jens hands to help her up too* Hey, umm Jen. I bet youve been wondering why I set this up for you..Well I need to ask you something important.
Jen- Ok..? *oh no this better not be him just trying to seem nice to get sex. He already tried this the first day of school and that didnt work*
Nick- *starts to turn red and stutters* Jen, will you be my..my..umm..my girlfriend?
Jen- *omg! Gets really excited but then has more doubts. He probably just wants sex and he wont even tell people about us. Hell let me tell everyone and hell probably deny it making me look like the stupid one* What? Your girlfriend? Well tonight was great, but Ill have to think about it. Too much has happened between us.
Nick- *damn I knew this would happen. Starts to regret asking her. But wait.. SHITT. If she tells everyone she rejected me, it would completely ruin my reputation. It would make me not seem like a bad boy AND also Nick Jonas never gets rejected!* Hahaha you thought I was serious didnt you? Do you really think I would ever ask someone to be my girlfriend. *thinks, uh oh that didnt sound convincing at all what can I say to make it more convincing* Especially you, I mean I already got what I wanted from you. Now youre just a used up whore. *feels extremely bad. oh maybe that was a little too harsh but I think she believed it*
Jen- FUCK YOU NICK HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT? *starts to cry and runs back to her house which was only a few blocks away. I cant believe he said that to me. I guess I was right all along. But, he really seemed like he had changed for a while. Then she had an idea. What if me even slightly rejecting him hurt him badly. And if it was the first time he got hurt because I was the first person he let in, maybe he didnt know how to react. When he asked me he seemed nervous and genuine. I really would like to be his girlfriend. Im going to go find him and apologize if he is willing to take back what he said*
The Next Day After School:
Jen- *looks for Nick and sees him sitting alone on a bench. Sits next to him* Hey Nick
Nick- Hey Jen. *goes in to kiss her, but then remembers what happened yesterday. Why did he have to ruin everything*
Jen- I think you were serious when you asked me to be your girlfriend.
Nick- No I wasnt.
Jen- Well I thought about your proposition, and if it still stands I would actually like to be your girlfriend.
Nick- What?? Well....um what if I was serious? *gets excited*
Jen- *smiles because she realizes she was right* Then Id do this *leans in and kisses him then pushes him down on the bench and kisses him harder and they start to make out*
