Blue shell dodging in Mario Kart Wii

UPDATE: I've been told repeatedly that I can change the camera angle by pressing the mirror (Z) button. There is no more need to mention that in the comments, since about 30 people have done so already here (and a lot more away from this site). I didn't know at the time of this video, which was made several months ago. Thanks for your concerns!

This is a replay video of me playing a 150cc race on Mushroom Gorge. The only reason this video is up here is to show that blue shell dodging is possible in Mario Kart Wii.

I used a mushroom to dodge the shell. The moment the shell pauses, you have to activate the mushroom. There's no need to move extremely to the left or right, as there was with BSDs in the past.

The replay camera shows the worst possible angle in which the event happens. But hey, proof is proof.

So far, there's been no proof that red or blue mini turbos are enough to dodge a blue shell, although if it does happen to me, I'll post it here. If it happens to someone else, I'll link to that video.

@Wario460 If u have bananas or red shells or green shells, when the redshell is about to hit u, all u have to do is through one of those items behind u.
