  • Thanks, this is great! Gave me flashbacks to 'the clangers', and " it's Friday, it's 5 to 5, and it's crackerjack!" suddenly rolled across my mind! The 70's were a truely special time!

  • Thanks!!

the one with the monk used to scare the living shite out of me..never went near water :D

  • I wanna go back too...action man, eating spangles, sitting in front of the TV on a saturday morning waiting for the six million dollar man to start, commando comic books for 8p, airfix model kits for a pound...playschool, bagpuss, fingermouse, bod, grandstand with eddie waring commenting on the rugby, world of sport with dickie davis, starsky and hutch, citizen smith...POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!, some mothers do have em, morcambe and wise, the liver birds , tommy cooper, dick emery

    great days...

  • just for those 5 minutes i went back in time and shed a tear. Im a grown man now, but i dont care! Theres something very special about being a 70's and early 80s child. Tarzy's, tree climbing, beck jumping, building go-carts with any scrap you could find. Huckleberry finn, grange hill, Why dont you! Bagpuss, the moomin trolls, that finger bobs guy scared the hell outa me but still loved it.

Treasured memories for us 70's and 80's kids. I wanna go back!!!

  • .....just makes me want to curl up on the sofa, with Mr Bear and a cup of hot milk, Mum's voice drifting through from the kitchen....rain pattering on the window, warm and safe, not a care in the world. Why do we have to grow up.
