Newt Gingrich attempts to cast Mitt Romney as being pro-amnesty by tweeting a link to short clip of him speaking on Meet the Press in 2007. The 14 second clip was trimmed mid sentence and greatly distorts Romney's view on immigration when taken out of context. Here is the full clip.

  • @jonaslove62194 not understanding the difference between legal and illegal immigration is ignorant, makes no sense, proves you are a fool and the racist. Mitt Romney's Grandparents were both US citizens thus his father was born a citizen of the Untied States under US as well as Mexico laws. Neither one of your arguments hold water and sound very childish. Fact: the entitlement mentality of the illegal immigrant taking advantage of American generosity is bankrupting the US one state at a time.

  • @ljaureguiv He's saying the illegal immigrants would apply for legalization, and depending on what they have to offer they would legalize a number of them, but the "vast majority" would be deported.

  • @gotyourtongue Haha... In that case, we should deport EVERY child born in the US! -Since everyone originally came from someplace else. The only people who were actually here from the start, were the Native American's; as I'm sure everyone knows. If you're racist, just come out and say it, don't try to justify it by making some ignorant comment that makes absolutely NO sense.
