I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Alfa Boxer Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

Love it, I've still got my 82 Sud in storage. It was my first car and hopefully I'll never sell it. They don't make them like that anymore. Just learn how to TIG weld and repair 12 volt systems and they'll keep on going.

had one in 1991 83 model 1.5 a real drivers car,made a noise like no other car and great fun to drive just a little tricky to get 2nd gear without it objecting but i think most did that
