Violin transcription is one halftone higher then piano original, in original key is this etude practically unplayable on violin:-)

@ChonQuahog heyyy...thanks for the info but i know both already IMSLP and that it's a piano etude...but i also know that a violin version exists...my friend played it and she told she had a violin score with Oistrach redaction...

@elisabeth717 This is a piano etude. Oistrakh played the right hand and the pianist, the left. The piano version downloads for free at: imslp.org/wiki/. You have to click on "composer name," then go to S and then "Scriabin, Alexander," then "12 Etudes op.8," and then "12. Etude in D-Flat Major." Then you can download it in pdf.

Midori does a very good performance of this on here "Encore" CD. If you havnt heard it before give it a try....I really enjoy it.

I got it on cassette tape many years ago from a collector who had the original 78rpm disk (Decca M545). I don't believe it has ever been issued on LP or CD.
