@Violetdemoneyes Yeah...he does give a little squeal at first (check 1:29 in the video--no audio of it here but you can see his facial expressions) but either shock or self-control takes over--at least until Phlox's happy-juice kicks in. "Please sir, may I have some more?"

Its cause malcom is a BAMF hes the security officer so i can assume that he has som sort of pain management therapy like the russians do the spetsnaz.

when he got that pole through his leg like that it almost seem he said 'ol dear, I got a pole in my leg." I never saw this episode so I didn't know what he really said. if it was me, I would be screaming and going "HOLY SHIT I GOT A POLE IN MY LEG!" that just me.

What i never get is how, when Malcolm was VERY fast running out of air, Archer had the time to leave him there, attached to the hull, for... well it has to be more than an hour.

And he kept calm coz thats what he does. :)
