UM History: UM President Henry King Stanford

A recaptured archive video from the tenure of Dr. Henry King Stanford, UM's third president from 1962 to 1981 who presided over important developments at the University.

Among the featured video highlights not to be missed: Dr. Stanford's efforts in cooperation with students on diversity issues; the establishment of Maurice Gusman Concert Hall; the Orange Bowl; and the Mailman Center for Child Development.

Stanford also served as president at Georgia Southwestern State University, Georgia College and State University, Birmingham Southern College, and the University of Georgia.
