Saving a species... the tallest in bird in North America was at one time down to only 15 birds in 1941! Because of the efforts of groups like the International Crane Foundation and Operation Migration, there are currently over 500 Whooping cranes in North America! The work of Operation Migration is tedious, and requires devotion and extreme patience! See why the work they are doing is so important to other species as well. Supporting their work insures a future for this magnificent bird, and other species whose habitat and living environments are equal benefactors!
