Utterly speechless=me right now. I just got some serious chills listening to this.
-
@Stealtht6 I like your thinking...
Though let's not forget what Leoben said. "When I look upon you, I don't see Kara Thrace. I see an Angel, burning with the light of God." or something like that (P.S. that got me SERIOUS chills). I'm still betting she's an Angel, and her dad might have just been screwed up, while her mother only had a "feeling" Kara was something more.

@86Corvus There is no proof of Starbuck being the first hybrid but there are some interesting coincidences that would lead to speculation. Her knowing the song and it being taught to her by her father etc. When I watched the episode where Anders get the surgery and he talked about Daniel the missing cylon along with Kara playing the cylon song on the piano, a friend and I that were watching at the time thought Kara was the daughter of Daniel and therefore a half cylon.
-
@incogneato420 wasnt that the purpose of hera? first human cylon hybrid? you are making shit up as you go, noone in the whole serier ever said that starbuck was a hybrid, the creators themselves said they have no fucking idea bout starbuck aka "shes whatever you want her to be. I love when writers say.. yea well... i dont know you figure this out. fuck that. worst ending ever

@86Corvus Not done by magic. During a recent revisit to the series, my friend and I are thoroughly convinced that Starbuck is in fact the first human/cylon hybrid, and her return was simply post-resurrection (though not from a ship, from the 13th tribes Earth). I posit that she is the daughter of the 7th model Daniel, who was boxed. Thus why her mother was so hateful towards him and why Kara herself was "special". No magic. Just subtlety that requires close attention.

its like the best show in the galaxy, but i was so dissapointed by the finale episode. finales are to wrap things up explain the unexplained and leave us in awe of the plot complexity. meanwhile finale of bgs was like a unimaginative slideshow. its like they have ran out of ideas of how to explain things rationaly after kara jumps the ship so they made it like "hey! magicman done it by magic!" ...so disapointing.

.....5...4...3...2.....like lets go

BOB DYLAN....YOU CYLON!!
-
@MrDomino0990 Well, it's the chords from Bear's arangement of AATW. Also, keep in mind that I wrote that comment six months ago please.
-
@MisterPenguinMusic Actually, while Dylan wrote AATW, this arrangement has nothing at all to do with the original. I mean, yes, you could argue that they're the same chord progression, but unless I'm mistaken, even that isn't exactly the same. This is a Bear McCreary piece that is VERY loosely based on a Dylan piece.
Just got chills down my spine.
