I sat down and edited the complete interview, available on foxnews.com to highlight what bits had been edited out of the broadcasted version of the interview.

  • I watch the Daily Show regularly, have a job, go to college and don't do drugs. I'm starting to get a little irked that O'Reilly insists on calling me a stoned slacker.

  • it is funny how they edit shit to make people look bad.

I don't think he means it that way. It's more professional/oldschool to call someone by their last name as a sign of respect, unless they explicitly ask to "Just call me John."

Keep in mind that O'reilly usually goes by...O'reilly. It's in the title. The last name is your family name, and to formally go by that is to represent your family. I disagree with O'reilly on pretty much everything, but I'm not going to slam him just to slam him, and I don't hate him at all.

  • @deathofsmokey i was more talking about the way bill refers to john as "Stewart" ...very disrespectful imo.

I think there's a lot of mutual respect between these two. There seems to be this running joke between them that they are "supposed" to hate each other, because their views are so different. But they keep coming back and joking around. These guys are opposing forces in a lot of ways, but they work together well enough that they could have their own show. Stewart doesn't just come in guns blazing to provoke Bill, he treats Bill like a person, and *gasp* a conversation happens.

Most of this is legit editing from what I've seen so far, I saw a bit of misleading near the end, but all of Stewarts points still seemed to come across well, even if some of the explanation leading up to them was trimmed. Stewart didn't look bad at all in the aired episodes, if anything they are probably just attempting to make O'reilly look a little better.

  • obivously bill has no respect for the anyone not like him.
