@EnemyTurtle i think they end up in separate gangs and they clashed, joon-hyuk asked dong-su to leave to Hawaii for a while till the war is over and dong-su basically told him to go fuck himself so joon-hyuk had no choice but to kill his friend dong-su

@EnemyTurtle dong su dies because he was killed by his right hand man or his underling. i forgot who killed him but basically someone from his same gang killed him. in korea, getting killed by your own gang member is the lowest way to die. so joon hyuk takes the blame to save dong su's reputation by saying that he killed him because they were in rival gangs.
