Que des bons souvenirs.

i think Evode is the right person to remove this uncertainty of his origine expressed by some of his fans. As for me, I know that he is 100 Burundian.
-
@9kaceli No it doesn't matter really, that's human nature to some times debate about little things.
-
@kirundo1 Does it really matter where he is from? he is a great artist and it´s a nice song!
-
@kirundo1 i don't know if u can convince me. how can he be enrolled in the national army without having a burundian ID? for u all those singers like canjo and others were rwandans? do u think that burundians of that time had a better life comparing to rwandans? i haven't seen any of those singers but i believe they were burundians. but i'ma tell u what, let's just suppose they're rwandans. personally i'm a burundian but i like tom close, blue, nameless, chameleon and many others non burundians

Hello Abelieve, I can give you a benefit of doubt. You may be right, but I tend to believe that evry thing good comes from Rwanda. It's not good but you know the other side of humans. I bet you , if that guy is not Rwandan 100%, he may be 50%. You can even feel the tone and melody of his song, it was about nostaligia which was felt by many Rwandans living in Burundi at that time. Ni nkaba ba Canjo Hamisi, n'abandi benshi baririmvyi b'i Burundi, bari abanyagwanda mugabo ntawarubizi.
Ntawudakumbura murantunga.
