  • A lot of the setups are not filmed at close up

  • @atwozed123 Try this one (take out the extra spaces) youtube . com /watch?v=vUE-JcEjHzE

  • Not sure whether you are still answering questions but anyway.

Shooting these does the cock vane go up, out or down?

    Cheers

  • @RussFlukeOutdoors Cock vane up works best with this rest

  • i hear about a lot of issues with tuning these arrow rests, and people say that if they are not tuned right, there will be fletching contact. how do you tune it so that this doesnt happen? is it all about your knocking point?

  • @MAIDEN068 If they are not timed right they will have clearance issues. I made a new video showing how to time them. You should be able to find it on my channel. If you can't let me know and I'll send you a direct link.

  • @civicblizz No offense taken. I am always willing to learn from others. Thanks for the advice.

  • ully de-draw and the slack you have now is just the right lengh for function.

    7. dont cut the excess string behing football just yet... tie a square knot and snug it up to the football for added security.

    8. cut the string close to the knot and keep for an extra d-loop.

    9. finally carefully melt the cut end of the cord with flame for a few seconds and itll make a bulb behind the knot for even more security.

hey thanks and i hope you like this.

  • their own. not tight at all, just snug. (there should be very little slack between the football and rest)

    2. manually cock the rest in the up position

    3. lightly pull out the slack between rest and football from the bottom of football

    4. load an arrow (no dry fire) and point in a safe direction.

    5. SLOWLY draw the bow. you will hear the rest cock at nearly full draw and you will see the cord pull through the football setting the proper slack (football should not move)

    6. caref

  • ing to draw and check more than once. try it!

First things first... before installing the rest.... level the bow. (crucial for accuracy).

For those who dont have a bow vise or string and arrow levels... just get as close as you can with what you at your disposal.

    1. after the rest body is leveled and mounted square on the riser... place the football on the downward moving cable at a 45degree angle from the rest spring housing screw and tighten enough so the football and cord dont move on
