under the screen you have to take apart the computer to get to it

click the rectangle at the bottom right hand corner to turn on the screen!!!

its a GPU problem mine had a simular thing before i replaced it with a new GPU :)

it could be a couple of things.
Processor could have moved around a bit during shipping which can cause your lack of video signal
Also, it could be that the graphcis card was damaged in the process
Lastly, manufacturer's hardware issues.
Mine would do the same thing except i knew why, i tried to install windows 7 on it and couldnt find the right driver for the Graphics card.

I got one of these and it does the same thing. The guy just left it here and I cant throw it away....

dude when i turn this pc on the fans turn on but nothing on the screen. Can you make a video without the back over of the pc.

I love my dell I have had it for 3 and yes THREE years and not a single problem with it!

computer sucks dont buy it

just developed the same fault, about 3 months old, now same thing, powers on, but no display at all, seems to emit a louder than usual fan noise at startup. fingers crossed they sort it.
Perhaps I should state that Dell have since sent me a replacement and collected the faulty one, and all is well ... but the packaging of the computer could be improved to avoid any damage that might occur in transit.
